Introduction

The journal strives to provide readers with open-access, peer-reviewed, articles and commentaries on broadly all areas including medical and health-related issues by publishing research findings, case reports, reviews, and perspectives. Authors should carefully read this author’s guidelines and section policies for information on manuscript submission.

Scope of the Journal

The Yatso International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (YIJMR) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across a wide range of disciplines. The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, case studies, and theoretical papers that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in various fields, including but not limited to:

  • Social Sciences and Humanities: Studies on societal structures, cultural dynamics, human behavior, and philosophical inquiries.

Manuscript submission

All articles should be submitted through the journal online article submission platform. Manuscripts should be written in English with double line spacing, with margins of at least I inch on all sides. Pages should be numbered consecutively, beginning with the title page and continuing through to the last page.

Formatting Requirements

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format, Times New Romans with font size of 12 and double-spaced. Authors should remove all personal identifying information from the main manuscript before submission in line with the blind review policy of the journal. This is however, checked by the managing editor before transmission of manuscripts to section editors and reviewers.

Authorship

Authorship in the Yatso International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (YIJMR) is granted to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research work being submitted. The journal emphasizes ethical authorship practices, ensuring that all listed authors have participated significantly in the project and can take responsibility for the content of the paper.

Plagiarism policy

Plagiarism checks is conducted for all manuscript before acceptance for publication in the journal. Manuscripts with plagiarism scores of more than 20% of similarity are referred to authors alongside the plagiarism transcript for revision. Manuscripts with plagiarism score up to 40% are outrightly rejected. Authors should ensure they carefully cite any sources used in their manuscript. If plagiarism or any other forms of academic misconduct is detected even after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue an erratum, retraction, or other appropriate statements. Authors are advised to conduct a plagiarism check on their completed manuscript before submitted for peer review and possible publication.
